I am a sole trader with over thirty-eight years of experience within the radio communications industry. Repairs are carried out to the highest standard, using original parts where these are still available. With older equipment, parts may no longer be available. However, I will endeavor to repair your legacy radios using parts from the large stock holding or from scrapped radios. This allows your older radios to continue in service, saving you the cost of replacement equipment.
I do not charge for quotations or to inspect your handhelds, I follow a no fix, no fee policy, so if any of your radios are not repairable, there is nothing to pay apart from a small shipping fee if you would like non repairable handsets returned to your facility. Replacement batteries, belt clips, aerials, and chargers can be supplied, just contact me with your requirements and I will send you a quotation. If you have equipment with broken cases, I offer a full refurbishment service to get your walkie-talkies looking and performing like new. Periodic servicing is highly recommended to ensure equipment is performing as intended. Servicing includes alignment, checking for poor solder joints, cleaning controls, checking for debris on speaker cones, treating any signs of liquid ingress, and cleaning the housing.
